The Ockers Company Acquires Global (Global Integrated Technologies, Inc.)

Brockton, MA, December 3, 2020 – The Ockers Company, a leader in the technology and audio visual marketplace, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Global (Global Integrated Technologies, Inc.), a rapidly growing security provider. The acquisition of Global enables Ockers to broaden its design, installation, and support offering of Electronic Security and Low Voltage Integration offerings to include Access Control, CCTV, Intercom and Area of Rescue, Intrusion Detection (burglar alarm), Gate Operators, Hardwired and Wireless Networks, BDA Systems. This is Ockers’ third acquisition in two years. In late 2018, they acquired Integrated Solutions Group, a Broadcast, Lighting & Design Company. In early 2020, they also acquired Automation Concepts, a leading Managed Services Provider. Tully Zipkin started out in the electronic security industry approximately thirty (30) years ago. Over his career he has been directly involved in the design, sales, project management, and delivery of large scale integrated solutions.  Tully has developed many long term professional relationships with clients, manufacturers, consultants. He has had the opportunity to provide solutions to private and public markets including K thru 12 and Higher Education, Law Enforcement and Military, Manufacturing, Housing, Sporting Arena’s and other markets. He has also been involved in the community serving in leadership roles within his neighborhood community and, and lake committee.

About John Houser

John Houser started his career at Ockers in 1976, first learning the typewriter repair business working for his father. A Graduate of Holbrook High School and Massasoit Community College, John worked for the company through High School and college learning the family business.  In 1996, John took over the reins of the company as president and has led the company’s expansion from office technology to computers and other technologies.  The Houser Family is represented by three additional family members actively working in the business. In his spare time, John enjoys boating, sports fishing, traveling and spending time with family.
