Taunton Community Access & Media Studio C
Taunton Community Access & Media acquired and renovated new space to make room for their third studio location. Studio C was designed to be their largest studio space ever to accommodate news programs, talk shows and live performances.
Ockers was hired to provide all of the HD studio and control equipment for this new studio. We installed new Sony PMW-320 cameras configured in a studio setup with viewfinders, zoom/focus controllers and remote control units. The customer wanted the portability and flexibility of the Sony Anycast Touch as their main production switcher in Studio C. The Anycast Touch is a full production system in a small portable enclosure. The Anycast Touch also allowed up to control a single Sony BRC-H900 PTZ camera in the studio to go along with their tradition studio cameras. Ockers designed and installed an HDMI matrix router and distribution system to serve the 14 monitors built into the set. All lighting and lighting design was provided by Ockers lighting specialist, Jonathan Lipsy.
