Norwood, MA (April, 2014)… The Camera Company Broadcast & Lighting is excited to announce the launch of its new division, Integrated Solutions Group. With this division, The Camera Company, which will be referred to as Integrated Solutions Group going forward, is fully integrated to approach and handle emerging technology, going green and the changing face of broadcast and media. ISG will partner with its customers on projects from inception to completion, every step of the way including design, installation and energy efficient lighting solutions. ISG will also offer an educational component presenting informative seminars, workshops, and product showcases. All business will be conducted at the newly renovated Norwood location, now known as The Camera Company Building, 858 Boston Providence Turnpike, Norwood, Massachusetts.

Since the addition of the lighting department in January of 2013, The Camera Company has seen steady growth and throughout the year has prepared for the venture of launching Integrated Solutions Group by hiring additional team members, expanding its vendors and renovating its existing space in Norwood to provide its customers a forum for monthly educational seminars, product showcases and workshops. The goal of ISG is to provide its customers with a one-stop shop for innovative, energy efficient and cost-effective solutions for their studios, projects, television stations and more.
The ISG team has over 100 years of combined experience and talent from professionals who have spent their entire career being part of this industry and watching the growth and change evolve. David Katz, Owner of The Camera Company and ISG, opened the doors of The Camera Company in Norwood and Natick in 1989 with retail camera stores, mini labs and the broadcast video division. Marty Feldman, now Vice President at ISG, began his career in major-market radio and worked in a television station before joining The Camera Company where he focuses on the broadcast media industry. Marty also is Chairman of the New England Section of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
Other members of the team include Jonathan Lipsy, Manager of ISG and head of the Lighting Division, who has spent over 20 years designing and building television and cable access stations throughout New England and New York. Gary Pink, Account Executive who partners with customers for project management, technology and installation. Stephen Innis, who recently joined the team as an Account Executive, established his career in the cable television access arena and will serve the needs of ISG’s cable, corporate, education and broadcast customers. Michael Goulston is ISG’s head installation technician; Gene Katz handles the day-to-day activities, coordination of the educational seminars and workshops and oversees the video transfers; and Albert Uckerman, a sales associate, who will handle sales of video, sound and lighting gear to videographers and independent filmmakers.
