Brockton – May 15, 2014 – The Ockers Company, a 92 year old Brockton, Massachusetts based technology company, announced today that it has acquired Atarza, a Connecticut based company that specializes in developing and delivering innovative and interactive solutions for education and corporate customers. The Atarza organization, based in Deep River, CT., will become a new business unit of Ockers, led by Ockers’ Chief Technology Officer, David Mitchell.
Atarza specializes in providing educational institutions (K-12) and corporate customers, product solutions from Promethean, Epson and Box Light products. Ockers looks to expand that portfolio with its technology product suite as well as providing infrastructure services for Atarza’s customers.
